UMC Architects are proud to announce the successful hand over of the largest speculative development in the north of England with the completion of 525 Haydock.
Having been responsible for the masterplanning of the overall development, UMC Architects were appointed by Bericote Properties for the detailed design of a new 525,600sqft distribution facility.
525 Haydock, is strategically located on the A580 East Lancashire Road, only 1.5miles west of Junction 23 of the M6 motorway whilst the new Liverpool2 deepwater port is located only 16 miles to the west.
UMC Architects supported McLaren Construction through the detailed design and construction phases of the project which was handed over in June 2019. The new cross docked unit offers a total footprint of 525,600sqft, including 47,500sqft of 3-storey offices in addition to 2no. operational hub offices and comprises a warehouse space benefiting from a clear internal height of 15m. The unit offers 50m service yards to both long elevations of the building serving 56no. dock leveller loading doors, 6no. Euro dock loading doors and 8no. level access doors in addition to 540no. car parking spaces
