Hinckley 532 handed over

UMC Architects are delighted to announce the successful completion of the Hinckley 532 scheme to IM Properties.

Having been initially to explore feasibility options, UMC Architects were novated to undertake the detailed design of the new speculatively built 532,500sqft distribution facility at Hinckley Park.

The site is strategically located adjacent to Junction 1 of the M69 in Leicestershire and within an hours drive of Birmingham and East Midlands Airports.

UMC Architects supported Winvic Construction through the detailed design and construction phases of the project which was successfully handed over in February 2020. The new cross docked unit offers a total footprint of 532,500sqft, including 22,500sqft of 3-storey offices in addition to 2no. operational hub offices and comprises a warehouse space benefiting from a clear internal height of 18m. The unit offers 55m service yards to both long elevations of the building serving 70no. dock leveller loading doors and 8no. level access doors in addition to 545no. car parking spaces.

The scheme offers an EPC rating of A and BREEAM very good standard whilst also including 10no. electric charging points.
