We are very proud to announce that UMC Architects has achieved Planet Mark Year 2 Business certification.

The Planet Mark is an internationally recognised certification based on sustainability standards which enables us to demonstrate our commitment to measuring and reducing our carbon emissions.

Measuring our carbon footprint is an important first step in understanding how we can reduce our impact on the environment. With Planet Mark’s support, we have been able to assess our carbon footprint and set a target for a 5% year on year reduction in UMC Architects carbon emissions.

Becoming recertified not only cements our commitment to reducing our carbon impact but encourages us to take ongoing and meaningful steps towards creating a more sustainable future for the practice and the projects we deliver.

A huge thanks to Rachel Harrop and Stephen Higgins who have coordinated the submission to achieve the accreditation. We are excited to continue the journey to become a Net Zero practice.
