Bruce Calton

Bruce leads our UMC Architects London Office and is a passionate strategic masterplanner who for 30years has delivered significant masterplans across Commercial, Industrial, Life Science Parks, Residential and most recently in the TV and Film Studio sector.  As a qualified Urban Designer and Architect this passion extends to public realm and placemaking. Articulate and enthusiastic about all projects, Bruce’s energy helps encourage the very best from client and consultant team for the benefit of the wider communities in which these masterplans and projects are realised.

As an exponent of a non-plain shirt, Bruce is a true petrol head travelling across Europe and the UK to watch motor racing events, whilst also considering switching his family cars to EV's (but passionately not letting go of his beloved 911!) Bruce enjoys 'old school' architectural rendering and prefers to use a good old fashioned pen in hand to convey his concept designs.
