UMC Architects have been responsible for the masterplanning of the 43 acres scheme having initially been appointed by London Metric / Graftongate Developments before being novated to support the main contractor Winvic Construction on delivery of the architectural detailed design of the first phase of construction.
Phase 1 of the masterplan which comprised the speculative development of units 3, 4 and 5 each offering footprints of 103,341sqft, 30,465sqft & 47,330sqft respectively was handed over in Q1 2019. Leases have now been agreed for L3 Harris, Workstories and Larson Juhl to take occupation. The remaining plots 1 and 2 offer build to suit opportunities ranging from 164,00sqft to 348,000sqft in single building arrangement.
Set equidistant between the M1 and A1, Bedford Link offers great accessibility for potential occupiers. All units are also designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of very good and targeted EPC of A. Employees benefit from landscaped open space, water features, integrated pedestrian and cycle routes surrounding each building.
Enabling works for the speculative construction of Plot 2 commenced in Q1 2020.
