Having been Lead Designers for the initial base build developer shell, UMC Architects were appointed to coordinate the internal fit out of the warehouse facility for global food manufacturer Cerealto . The base build included a total footprint of 330,400sqft comprsing 15,000sqft of 2-storey mezzanine offices. The building was also created to be as sustainable as possible, and included Eco-Initiatives including Rainwater harvesting, roof-mounted photovoltaics and a solar water system to provide hot water.
The multi-chamber fit out accommodated new biscuit and cereal bar production lines, raw material and packaging storage as well as a dedicated gluten free production hall all to ensure the highest standards of food safety management.
