The £26million speculative development known as Connexion is located directly off junction 4 of the M42. The development offers a campus of five units ranging in size from 31,000sqft to 56,500sqft with a combined total footprint of 209,000sqft.
UMC Architects were originally appointed by IM Properties in early 2017 as Project Architect charged with undertaking the original plot feasibility study as well as the drafting of a detail design package and the delivery of the scheme once on site.
Our team worked with Benniman Construction during the detailed design stages of the base build with construction work commencing on site in October 2018.
The units comprise a striking colour palette of black, anthracite and slate grey providing a distinctive identity for the development.
A pre-let occupation of Unit 1 was agreed with Hofer powertrain who create automotive products for premium UK sportscar brands. UMC Architects were appointed to undertake the CAT B fit out design works which comprised a ground floor extension to suit the occupiers’ requirements.
