UMC Architects were appointed by Roxhill Developments to deliver the detailed design of a major new manufacturing sector project for technology company Eleather who manufacturer high-technology composition leather for rail and aviation companies worldwide. The project represented the latest scheme at the 240 acre Peterborough Gateway development, which lies to the south of the city.
The new facility offers 230,000sqft of production space with a clear internal height of 12.5m. The scheme also includes 20,000sqft of 3-storey HQ offices. After successfully securing planning consent, UMC Architects were appointed as Lead designers for the detailed design phases alongside Main Contractor Winvic Construction, as well as coordinating the fit out design directly with the End User.
