Having been appointed by Liberty Property Trust and Stoford Developments to undertake initial feasibility masterplans, UMC Architects were delighted to be novated to support GMI Construction Group throughout the detailed design and construction phase of the new facility.
The unit offers a footprint of 108,091sqft and comprises a 12m clear internal height, in order to accommodate the requirements of future B1(b and c) / B2 and B8 occupiers. The unit also includes 5,920sqft of first floor mezzanine offices with a warehouse under-croft below, a service yard depth of 64m with 8no. dock leveller loading doors and 2no. level access doors in addition to 89no. car parking

The building offers an EPC rating of ‘B’ and a BREEAM rating of very good.
UMC Architects were also responsible for coordinating the Building Information Modelling (BIM) with cross-team three dimensional modelling providing the perfect basis from which to develop potential internal racking configurations for future End Users.
