The development known as The Wellington Trilogy pays tribute to the heritage of Fradley Park’s former life as RAF Lichfield Staffordshire through the naming of the units Pegasus, Perseus and Merlin which were pioneering aircraft engines of their day.

The Wellington trilogy is targeting the Mid-Box Industrial and Logistics market with Pegasus delivering 50,000sqft, including 3,190sqft of office space and 47 parking spaces whilst Perseus delivers 60,000sqft and includes 3,720sqft of office space and 45 parking spaces. Merlin provides 4,215sqft of offices with 60 parking spaces across a total of 70,000sqft.

UMC Architects were initially appointed by Graftongate to undertake feasibility masterplan proposals for the redevelopment of the site, before commencing with the preparation of a full planning application for the multi-unit scheme. UMC Architects supported main contractor Readie Construction throughout the detailed design and construction phases of the project, which was delivered in a little under 36 weeks. The wider Design Team comprised Avison Young [PM], Curran Webb [CDM], Nolan [Structural and Civil Engineering] and WMBS [M&E].
