Co-op De-Kit, Newhouse
Works have been completed on a new 47,500 sqft facility at Newhouse in North Lanarkshire. The new facility is located next to the Co-Op’s existing regional distribution centre that fronts onto the M8. It is also occupied by Co-Op to strengthen their core logistics operation in North Lanarkshire.

The single storey warehouse unit benefits from 15% natural lighting, a single storey ancillary office and is served by associated car parking, servicing areas, landscaping, staff amenity area and an attenuated drainage strategy on seven acres of land adjacent to Glasgow and Edinburgh Road, Newhouse.
UMC Architects were appointed by Lumonics Developments / Avison Young and supported Luddon Construction who were the Main Contractor for this scheme.
