The warehouse comprises two distinctive pods: a single storey mess and welfare pod as well as a two-storey office block. The use of curtain glazing and large windows ensures the building is provided with ample natural light.

A clever and efficient use of space has been achieved by careful design of the external operational spaces which incorporates PTW parking spaces and segregated areas for Cars, Vans, and HGVs.

The new parcel hub for DPD will be built to a BREEAM standard of “Excellent”, an EPC A+ rating and will be net zero in both construction and operation through usage of on-site renewable energy, thermal insulation, high-performance glazing, and sustainable lighting technology.

UMC Architects were appointed by Trebor Developments and are supporting the Main Contractor A&H Construction Limited throughout the detail design/construction phases of the project.
