The yard is designed to accommodate 20 dock loading doors, with provisions in place for future expansion. A state-of-the-art energy efficient refrigeration system has been installed to serve both the existing facility and the new extension.

This was a complex and dynamic project, requiring the uninterrupted operation of the existing cold store throughout the construction period. As such, meticulous planning during the design process and phased construction were essential to maintain functionality and ensure safety.

The new extension is integrated with the existing structure via dedicated links, facilitating seamless movement of goods across the entire site and incorporates a fully frozen loading bay area. The project is due to complete in July 2025.
