The unit has a PET line production capacity for 20,400 bottles per hour and 36,000 cans per hour can line which allows distribution throughout the UK as well as export to Kingsley operations across the globe.

UMC Architects supported Main Contractor Winvic Construction throughout the construction phases of the bespoke project which comprised a clear internal height of 12.5m, 7 dock levellers and 4 level access doors.

In addition to the base build design, UMC Architects were also appointed to coordinate an additional £6million of base build enhancement/fit out works related to the production of soft drinks. These works included specialist drainage for the disposal of effluent drainage arising from the process works; CO2, water treatment, and installation of effluent tanks and 120 tonne sugar silos. Furthermore, the scheme incorporated extensive hygiene rated internal walls, sprinklers, flavour rooms, compressors and a complete M&E package. UMC Architects also designed a 4,500sqft expansion to the office area which housed additional staff welfare accommodation.

External works included hardstanding, car parking, landscaping, mains services and drainage.
