SEGRO Park Kettering offers up to 1,200.000sqft of industrial/warehousing space with units from 50,000 to 700,000sqft adjacent to the A14 in the heart of the Midlands. The site is located in an established position with direct access to junction 10 of the A14 at Kettering, which links directly to the M1, M6 and A1(M) and is home to local occupiers including Morrisons, Weetabix and Alpro.
The plot 4a project represents the first construction at the development and was completed on programme in June 2020. The warehouse, which houses Bunzl’s distribution hub within the East Midlands, offers in excess of 27,000 pallet spaces in both wide and narrow aisle configurations to suit the end users operational requirements. The project included the fit out of 22,000sqft of bespoke office space and included a product development suite.
UMC Architects supported Main Contractor Buckingham Group Contracting throughout the detailed design and construction phases of the project, which was delivered to a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ and included rainwater harvesting, solar thermal heating and electric car charging points.
