The development comprises of two buildings each divided into terrace units, providing a total of 7 smaller units. Construction started in Q3 2024 and is due to be completed Q3 2025. All units are speculative ranging from 942 m² to 2,712 m². They contain warehouse and ancillary office space, covering Use Classes E, B2 and B8 with associated vehicle parking, cycle storage, yard space and landscaping.
This project is targeting the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and will incorporate responsible material sourcing, electric vehicle charging and renewable technologies such as photovoltaic panels.
Both buildings on the site are co-ordinated in terms of materials and include the same cladding finishes/colours, so that the units read together as one cohesive development. Timber effect cladding has been introduced in the elevational treatment to soften the impact of the development.
UMC Architects were appointed by Equation Properties to provide the initial designs for the planning and tender packages and were later novated to support Ventry Construction Ltd who are the Main Contractor for the project.
