UMC Architects were appointed by Curtis Hall to provide the initial feasibility designs for a new 105,500sqft speculative facility on a 6.15 acres site at Western Approach, Bristol. The scheme is close to the M4/M5 motorways as well as high profile Occupiers including GKN, Royal Mail, Next and Warburtons.

Having secured a successful B2[manufacturing] / B8[Storage and Distribution] planning consent, UMC Architects were novated to support Main Contractor A & H Construction through the detailed design phases of the scheme.

The facility includes a ground floor core leading to a first-floor office of 5,300sqft with the opportunity to fit out the warehouse under-croft beneath. Externally, the scheme includes a large service yard providing ample HGV parking areas and access to 8 dock loading doors and 2 level access doors. Additionally, the scheme offers 61 car parking spaces adjacent to the main office. The unit incorporates a flexible warehouse space which benefits from a clear internal height of 12m.
