After successfully securing planning consent for the new retail store in March 2016, UMC Architects are working alongside Warick Burt Construction through to completion and opening of the store; expected in February 2017.
The new 24-hour foodstore, which is designed to achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, will include a petrol filling station, jet wash, customer car park, service yard and associated landscaping. The project is the fist to be delivered on the Warth Park mixed-use roadside development, which acts as a ‘Gateway to Raunds’.
As design team leaders and BIM co-ordinators, UMC Architects were initially appointed to prepare concept designs for the 15k.sq.ft store, which provides 10k.sq.ft of net sales area.
